The new study will involve thousands of patients with Covid-19: it will be randomized and various therapeutic strategies will be evaluated. Depending on the evidence that becomes available, it will be possible to change the groups of participants in the trial. A commission of independent experts will evaluate the interim results of the trial and determine the efficacy of treatments for patients. The medical procedures required by the trial will be minimal, so as not to place an additional burden on health care facilities.
