Starting from 3 March 2020 the University’s governance has extended the ‘Smart work’ (Working from home) scheme to all technical and administrative staff. Working from home has thus become the standard working method for employees, who in this way can work in total safety from home.
Not only distance learning: thanks to cutting-edge softwares and technologies, today over 95% of the University’s staff works from home.
Teaching staff also work from home, carrying out remotely all teaching and research activities that do not require them to be physically present on-site. Access to facilities and laboratories is strictly limited to essential activities, and must be carried out in compliance with safety regulations, and for the shortest possible time.
